A good book is an invaluable tool. I've got a few of my favorites below. They have great ideas and pictures to guide you through a bunch of neat projects. Just like with my own plans, you can follow along exactly or use the books as inspiration.

Ana White DIY Handbuilt Home

Ana White's Handbuilt Home is a great book with 30 projects you can build for your home. Ana has been a huge inspiration to my DIY career and she makes do it yourself projects easy. I'd highly recommend Ana White's book!

The New Bandsaw Box Book David Picciuto

David Picciuto's Bandsaw Box Book is an excellent resource for woodworkers that are looking for unique projects that also make great gifts. David of the Drunken Woodworker has laid out a step-by-step, illustrated book that is clean and straight forward.

Concrete Countertops Fu Tung Cheng

Fu Tung Cheng is the King of concrete countertops. He's been doing concrete countertops, design, and education programs for decades and his books will give you all sorts of ideas and tips for building countertops. I have 2 of Fu Tung Chengs books and they have been invaluable.

Concrete Counterops Made Simple Fu Tung Cheng

Concrete Countertops Made Simple is another book by Fu Tung Cheng. It has some great tips and advice to show the average DIY'er how to build projects out of concrete.

Making Concrete countertops Buddy Rhodes

Buddy Rhodes is another Concrete Counter Expert and someone I've learned a great deal from. Buddy's book is great for learning about troweling techniques and the veined concrete finish. He is a great teacher and I think you will get a lot out of the book.
